Baun bags were introduced at the Impact Day event!

We had the great pleasure of visiting the 2022 Impact Day event and getting to know many different options and solutions, the purpose of which is to contribute to the improvement and promotion of environmental conservation.

Baun was on display with its products at the 2022 Impact Day event at the booth of the Environmental Investment Center. We would like to thank all interested parties who got acquainted with our products and with whom many good ideas were shared!

Baun spoke to Rohegenius about how the deposit bag system works and what is rPET plastic

Rohegenius conducted a more extended interview with us to get an overview of our activities so far, some insight into our future plans, and the progress we have already made.

Among them, we talked more precisely about how our idea works, how the test period in e-Selver went, what our bags are like, and what is so special about rPET plastic.

In addition, we talked in more detail about the first lessons and setbacks in the company. And of course, we also threw around some ideas in the direction of the future, i.e. where we could move forward and how to do it.

Baun visited Seitsmesed Uudised news show and spoke about the experience of the Negavatt competition

Baun visited TV3's Seitsmesed Uudised news show to discuss our idea, what we want to do in the near future, and how difficult it was to pass the Negavatt competition. HeatSync representative Rander Süld, who won first place in the Negavatt 2022 competition, and Ragnar Saksing, a jury member of the Negavatt competition, were there with us.

Baun landed among the finalists of the 2022 Negavatt competition!

Negavatt is a competition for green ideas aimed at young people aged 18-30, the main prize of which is 10,000 euros to realize your idea!

  • In 2022, Heatsync, which optimizes the energy consumption of spa centers, received the main prize of 10,000 euros from Negavat.
  • The 5,000 euros intended for the second place was taken home by RoheVaim, who creates environmentally friendly educational materials for people with intellectual disabilities.
  • Third place and 3,000 euros goes to Baun, which supplies e-grocery stores with refundable bags.

According to Andrus Treier, head of KIK and member of the jury, the level of finalists this season was consistently high, and making a choice was difficult.

"During the selection of the top three, the decisive factor was primarily the impact, the importance of the topic in society, and also the team's motivation to implement the idea," Treier commented on the top three.
